Janet Dracksdorf is a Strategic Education Executive and Non-Profit leader based in Boston, MA. She consults in various areas of the education market with a lifelong interest in language teaching and education. Previously, Janet served for 10 years as President of Vista Higher Learning; she has more than 30 years’ experience in the educational publishing, language learning and technology industries.
Prior to Vista, Janet held leadership positions as Publisher, World Languages at Thomson Higher Education, Vice President of Product Development at Co-nect, Inc. and Senior Vice President and General Manager of Mazer Digital Media, a division of the Mazer Corporation. She began her career in foreign language teaching and editorial roles.
Janet is active in the Boston area non-profit world, serving on the Board, Advisory Council and/or Executive Committee of The Huntington Theatre, the Gibson House Museum, Room to Read, United Planet, and Hope Collaborative. She also serves as a pitch coach for the Babson College/Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program and as a long-time volunteer for Community Servings.
