Tyler Losey is a language learner, a corporate learning and development consultant, and a proud bilingual.
On a mission to empower changemakers in global organizations to communicate and collaborate better across borders, Tyler currently serves as Sales Director for Hult EF Corporate Education. His work centers on designing and implementing language training programs for multinational companies. He leads a team of program managers and consultants to identify language skills gaps among workforce populations, and to run results-oriented training programs in concert with Human Resources, Learning & Development, and Talent Management stakeholders. These programs have been featured in Yahoo Finance News among other outlets. Tyler is a regular contributor to the Hult EF Corporate Training Blog: Language & Communication Insights.
Tyler’s work in the field of language education began in Washington, DC, as a team-lead for after school tutoring organizations in English through DC Reads, including at CentroNÃa and the DC Bilingual Public Charter School. He has worked in education policy as an intern at the U.S. House of Representatives and later as the Associate Director of External Affairs at the Center for Education Reform, an education policy think tank.
His passion for language education brought him to Madrid, Spain, where he earned his certification in the Corporate English Teaching Specialization (CETS). While there, he taught English to adult professional learners in Spanish corporations. Tyler has taught Spanish to adult language learners and college students in the United States as well through Fluent City and the George Washington University Language Center.
Tyler graduated from the George Washington University majoring in Political Science & Public Policy with a minor in Spanish Literature. He resides in Boston, MA, with his partner and their many plants.
