The Language Connects Foundation proudly joins each of the regional conferences in celebrating the achievements and impact of the outstanding language educators who represented their local communities as State Teachers of the Year in 2022. As such, they serve as important voices for our field, championing fellow language teachers, their programs, and learners.
These individuals went on to be considered for the role of regional finalists—five of whom were interviewed during the Annual ACTFL Convention & World Languages Expo in Chicago where the 2024 National Language Teacher of the Year was named. We applaud their collective contributions to the profession.
