Lead with Languages Teacher Scholarship Program
Dedicated to addressing a critical national shortage by bolstering the pipeline of future language educators, this award provides merit-based scholarships to graduating high school seniors committed to pursuing the language teaching profession in languages other than English.

LCF/Vista Classroom Microgrants for Language Educators
An initiative aimed at supporting and empowering those who are dedicated to promoting multilingualism and cultural diversity in the classroom, this program provides small grants to K-12 educators who are passionate about teaching languages and incorporating cultural elements into their lessons.
100 microgrants of $300 each will be awarded between September 2023 and May 2024.
Applications for the first cycle are due November 10!
LCF Awards
LCF continues to expand awards offerings to recognize the accomplishments and impact of a diverse pool of language educators, learners, and those who support them. These include:

ACTFL/LCF Award for Excellence in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Classroom
This award recognizes language educators at all levels who have intentionally and effectively created accessible spaces of belonging for their learners and incorporated diverse, equitable and inclusive principles into their classroom curriculum and projects, and in doing so have enabled all students, including those with special needs, to develop linguistic and cultural competence.

LCF/Klett Award for Sustainable Development Education in the World Language Classroom
This award recognizes language educators & postsecondary students who effectively incorporate the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their classroom curriculum and projects, and in doing so promote global awareness and social responsibility.
ACTFL Professional Awards
The ACTFL Awards Program honors outstanding contributions to the field of language education—including achievement in areas of teacher education, innovative use of technology in language instruction, leadership, research, elementary language programs, the teaching of culture, and more.
