Amy Rush Conroy (she/her) is an educator, author, and social entrepreneur in Los Angeles, CA. She is the founder of Habla Blah Blah, a lifestyle company since 2006 dedicated to engaging people of all ages with second language learning.

Originally designed to target our smallest citizens, Habla Blah Blah is most known for their proprietary children’s music to teach Spanish, French, and English. Having earned “Best Children’s Song” and “Best Children’s Songwriter” from the Indie Music Channel in 2013 and 2017, their toddler classes were also awarded amongst “Best Children’s Classes” locally. Habla Blah Blah has grown to include private Global Parenting travel adventures that embed language learning in rich, authentic cultural contexts based in positive social impact.

Amy’s first book, ¿Cómo Te Sientes?, is a Beginner Reader Book in Spanish due to be published in 2026, though her writing has appeared in blogs, magazines, and aggregate works by others. Spreading the transformative power of bilingualism one word at a time, Habla Blah Blah offers a lifestyle line of ‘conversation starters’ to be worn, carried, and read.

Amy currently teaches Spanish at the Hollywood Schoolhouse in Hollywood, CA. She received her M.A. in Anthropology from San Francisco State University and B.A. in Sociology from UCLA. She obsesses over her children, is a tone-deaf dancer, and really likes people and their street mutt from Mexico, Ricky. Amy seeks to inspire second language learning as a pathway to greater understanding and inclusivity of other peoples and cultures.
